Coaching / counselling of mentally and/or physically challenged people on their way back to work. Work rehabilitation. Real work with real people (not occupational therapy in protected institutions) is an integral part in the recovery process. It gives perspective and meaning. Self-esteem grows. People will regain their dignity, a precondition for regaining control about life and a starting point of recovery. As Supported Employment Advisor, I am counselling and coaching clients on this recovery path.

EX-IN (Experienced Involvement) started as a pilot project, funded by the EU Leonardo da Vinci Program. As a result of this project, a 12-month training programme has been developed, by which people with lived experiences in mental health distress are qualified to work as professional peer supporters. As certified EX-IN Trainer, I am approved to arrange and operate EX-IN training courses.

Since 10 yrs, I am working on an integrative approach to recovery from mental-cognitive dysfunctions, which complements neurophysiol. research with findings from cognitive science and ethnopsychiatry. As one of the results hithereto, I developed EnvironMental training® - a complete mental-cognitive training tutorial, aimed at people suffering from severe mental-cognitive dysfunctions (psychosis, bipolar disorder, depression, personality disorder, anxiety, OCD, slight forms of autism and dementia).
