Impedance-based analysis and modeling of Electrolyte-Supported Cells for SOFC stacks. * Investigation of single cells with active area 1cm^2 to quantify the electrochemical process limiting the SOFC performance. * Investigation of repeat units with the metallic interconnector to observe the loss associated with the stack-like condition. * Performance analysis through CV-Characteristics. * The thesis results are analyzed and presented with the MS Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint).
• Use of the dSPACE Automotive Simulation Models (ASM) implemented in Simulink to simulate the operating behavior of polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) • Familiarization with the topic of modeling the cold start of polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) • Further development of the dSPACE demo model ASM FuelCell in preparation for modeling complete cold start processes • Evaluation and presentation of the simulation results with MATLAB and Microsoft Powerpoint
