• Responsible for accounting & controlling, purchasing, quality management, human resources, IT, legal & compliance, commercial sales, project management, engineering and production, company business & communication strategy • Restructuring of the company for proper integration into Siemens • Development and execution of global strategy and policy • Implementation of corporate guidelines, utilization of SAP • contact for auditors (KPMG, E&Y), sales agents, PR

• Planning and controlling of all key business data for the global organization of the business unit • Performance Management based on effective financial analysis • Responsible for reporting and accounting in accordance with US-Gaap, HGB und IFRS • Preparing presentations and decision papers, executive summaries • Financial integration of large M&A transactions (financially, but also for processes and organization) • SOA, ICS, general risk management • Deputy of Business Unit CFO

• Supporting acquisition negotiations with Chinese state-owned companies from a commercial point of view • Lead of the financial module during due diligence at the Chinese target company • Management and coordination of consultants (KPMG, G&S, E&Y) and lawyers • Contributing in evaluation of the enterprise value (Multiplier and DCF) and determination of the sales price (incl. Goodwill portion)

• Analysis of quality costs and institution of quality workshops in order to improve the quality culture of the employees with proper measurement and control systems • Establishment of an investment controlling and budgeting system incl. EVA-evaluations (easy guide type-in template) • Developing and implementation of several Siemens corporate guidelines (signature, investment and stock limits • Implementation of a unified and continuous cost center controlling

Responsible for overall commercial processes of the segment: • Budgeting of all key financials • Cost Center Controlling and Reporting • Invoicing (process and monitor) • Purchase order processing of internal cross-border deliveries • Project cost controlling, commercial project management • Strong interface to central accounting, support in closing activities • General improvement of specific processes

• Cost comparison analysis after integration of Siemens Westinghouse (SWPC) • Integration of transfer pricing methodology in accordance with respective accounting policies and processes (establishment of virtual profit centers due to tax requirements)
