Satellogic is an Argentinian aerospace company specialized in the construction of satellites aimed at the capture and post-processing of images, through a LEO constellation. Here, I worked as a Mechanical Project Engineer and Mechanical Designer in R&D, performing the calculus, development and execution of space-rated flight parts as well as ground segment equipment. My later responsibilities were related to the development of projects as a whole and processes transference for our manufacturing plant.

Assistant professor in mechanical projects Workshop, for the department of Mechanical Technology. The aim of the subject, which includes theory and practice, is to show students the methods, instruments and machine tools used in the process of making mechanical parts by chip removal techniques.

Development of Concept Engineering and Detail Engineering of mechanical assemblies and specialized machinery; pneumatic systems, automatisms, structures, drivers, etc. I carried out the design, calculus and mechanical drawings of the components, as well as power and control wiring, and the manufacturing of some of the machine parts in-house whenever the project on course required it. In addition to design, my tasks included contact, support and development of suppliers.

Technical support for electromechanical design software, tools for the design of electronic circuitry, quick prototyping PCB printers, and high-immersion level simulators, used for civilian and military use. Edasim was the only contact in Argentina for the following brands: LPKF, Vortex CM Labs Simulation, Automation Studio, Presagis, ZODIAC Data Systems, KEIL, OrCAD, Proteus, among others.

In this professional practice, a test bench was engineered. The turbo pumps to be tested belong to a rocket propulsion system, and because of this some of the instrumentation, piping, pressure-flow rate to be measured, as well as other parameters, required additional research. The test bench was designed from scratch, from the welded structure to the selection of the instruments. The manufacturing of the test bench structure was carried out by myself at the university’s facilities.

Tasks related to electric and instrumentation engineering for distributed control systems, drawings of hardware and connections, basic and detail engineering documentation, BOM, etc.

My work here was mostly related to the development of basic and detailed engineering of cabinets for distributed control systems, including manufacturing drawings, BOM and supplier’s tracking.

Here I work as Client Technical Support regarding inquiries on plate heat exchangers and centrifugal decanters. In addition, my duties involved the evaluation of the spare parts and machined replacements for these equipments. Also, assisted in the preparation of quotes and the development of new business opportunities.
