Currently researching on the application of Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy for characterization of cancer tumors and cells. Applications: - Distinction of cell types - Evaluation of chemotherapy effects - Identification of tumors bio-markers I work developing the HW, SW, chambers and electrodes necessary to perform the pre-clinical studies in UKE. I also work analysing the experimental data and having extensive discussions with Doctors at UKE to translate medical needs in products/solutions.

Project Leader "Determination of tumor relevant parameters using Bioimpedance Spectroscopy". The project is a joint collaboration with the Institute for Anatomy and Experimental Morphologie from UKE. Objectives of the project include the evaluation of the effect of chemotheraphy on solid tumors and cells suspensions, measuring the presence and concentration of several tumors biomarkers and designing hardware and software to perform the experiments in solid tumors and cells suspensions.

• Research and development of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Systems. • My worked consisted in studying and characterizing the noise produced by the Magnetic Resonance Machines during patient’s scans and the proposal of solutions to reduce its level giving patients more comfort during the scans.
• Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) calculations of equipment upgrades of possible evolution paths to different operators in Europe and China. • Sensitivity analysis of several parameters and their relation to the costs of the networks • Run Ray Tracing simulations in 3D maps of European cities in order to analyze the propagation and level of signal. • Programming the Cost and Energy optimization modules of the network simulator.
Creation of requirements specifications to get Billing Information for different customer systems, process and deliver it in the middleware for tax purposes. Daily direct contact with costumer, working in multidisciplinary teams.
