- Project management. - Use of online PAT tools to monitor crystal growth of APIs (Lasentec, Raman, FTIR, PVM). - Hands-on experience with Mettler’s EasyMax®, OptiMax®. - Solid state characterization: using offline analysis (Static image analysis, XRPD, DSC, TGA, SEM, laser diffraction, NMR and light microscopy) to characterize different solid forms.

- Project management. - Production of coated pharmaceutical tablets on an industrial setting. - Hands on experience with analytical instruments including:  HPLC, GC, XRPD, FTIR, UV/Vis, DSC, TGA, Karl Fischer titration. - Supervision of diploma, masters and DAAD internship students.

Application of a new technology utilizing melt crystallization for the production of coated tablets

- The influence of solvents on the generation of crystalline nanotubes (liquid formulation). - The generation of solid lipid nanoparticles through micro-emulsions (liquid formulation).
