Press work, writing press releases and advertising texts, incl. translations from German into English,organization of congresses and trade shows, looking after technical user groups, customer relations of customers and journalists, multiplier marketing.

Customer Relations Manager responsible for the Kenya Airways, El Al and Livingston client accounts and licensed and provided films, TV and audio content. Job entailed sourcing content, ensuring a faultless product cycle from licensing to product arriving on-board. Was also solely responsible for the marketing all the entertainment on the airlines. Using my African contacts, I established the African market for our airlines and sold product to Lufthansa and Brussels Airlines.

Corporate Communications Manager and Artist Relations Manager for the European sector of Behringer. I represented the firm at trade shows, did internet marketing and wrote press releases to promote the firm internationally. I was responsible for two budgets including sponsoring. In this capacity I ensured German rock band Oomph! was given equipment and in return got much publicity and a thank you on their CD.

Revise editor for copy in German and English. The small magazine was based in Hamburg and specialised in heavy metal. I offered to revise the articles and make the translations flow easier. I was a freelancer.

TV editor for a daily national newspaper. I was responsible for all the TV-related copy - this included interviews, writing the articles quickly and correctly, live televised interviews and sometimes layout. The position often Involved travelling within Africa and being reliable, fair and subjective. During my time, our paper was credited as the one which gave the most coverage to 'Popstars' - and I was the only person in the team!

Freelance journalist who had a weekly music column for a national Saturday newspaper. I also had a regular column on local flea markets, another on what's inside celeb fridges and various interviews with famous personalities.

Journalist for the Rosebank Killarney Gazette and news editor for the Northcliff Melville Times - both small community newspapers. RKG had a predominately Jewish upper-class market while NMT was bohemian middle-class. I did interviews, took pictures, wrote stories on community issues and did layout.
