Leading all aspects of Hardware-Development at Cariad SE - including ADAS/AD, Infotainment, Gateway, Zone, Body, Chassis, SoC development across all platforms and brands of the VW Group from HW-Layer to SW-Plattform and SWC-integration.

Responsible for delivering scalable central upgradeable Compute hardware/ECU for VW group. We develop the semiconductor base for CARIAD ECUs and the VW.OS platform, ensuring seamless integration through HW/SW CoDesign for faster time-to-market. Additionally, we deliver a scalable ADAS-Blade ECU, enabling highly automated driving functionalities and preparing for the future of mobility.

Responsible for the comprehensive system development of assisted and automated functions, possessing all essential competencies (systems engineering, requirements management, architecture, safety - encompassing FuSi functional safety, GeSi safety of use, SOTIF safety of the intended functionality, system management, integration, testing).

Led a successful ADAS/AD Department from inception. Took charge of localizing sensors and related functions in China, including Ultrasonic sensors and PDC/PLA. Responsible for AEB tests and performance for C-NCAP, driving safety standards in the region. Successfully built a supplier network for HAD functions (level 3-4) and conducted predevelopment projects with local suppliers. Pioneered the first local Level 2+ ADAS function development for series production at VW in China.
