Anjali George

Former Administrative Assistant at the Ministry of Finance, Kerala State Government. She is also a mother, writer, researcher, teacher and artist from India. She has lived in Germany for ten years and is a founding member of various NGOs that work for Cultural preservation, law, architecture, environmental protection and Human Rights. She holds a degree in Nursing Science from Government Medical College, Kozhikode and passed the Indian Civil Service Preliminary Examination in 2008. She is the mastermind behind the viral social media campaign #ReadyToWait, which stood up for Kerala's indigenous women and later became a popular mass movement to protect the rights of the Sabarimala Temple.
