As a Black Belt I lead major improvement projects with a focus on supply chain issues. I also support Green Belts in their projects, lead trainings and workshops and I am responsible for the continuous development of the Brenntag Excellence philosophy in the organization as part of various activities.

Main tasks: - Preparation of different logistics analyses for the evaluation of economic potentials - Lean Manager: Optimizing processes with lean methods (e.g., 5S, Kanban, Shopfloor Management), running various lean workshops - Project management: Introduction of a time-slot management system, retrofit of a high-bay warehouse

In this role I had the responsibility for managing operations (materials planning, incoming goods, production, outgoing goods) at Duisburg site. In addition to managing and developing the employees and ensuring proper day-to-day business, I runed various continuous improvement projects. I also represented Supply Chain in audits and projects.

I supported site management in different ways. My tasks consisted of representing the Site Operations Manager in the event of absences, guiding the operational employees in day-to-day business, and running different continuous improvement projects.

In the trainee program, I worked in various departments and locations within Brenntag: - Sales - Controlling - Product Management - Logistics (abroad) - Purchasing The focus of my activities was project work, analyses and cooperation in day-to-day business.
