Barbara Nascimento Nunes

I received a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Chemistry at the Federal University of Uberlândia, Brazil. Since then, I have been motivated to work in materials development for environmental and sustainable applications. Then, I completed a Master's degree in the same institution focusing on Inorganic Photocatalysis. In 2018, I came to Germany for my doctoral degree in co-tutorship at the Leibniz University of Hannover and the Federal University of Uberlandia. I have studied niobium-based photocatalysts in my research, particularly for green molecular hydrogen production. Presently, I am working on the development of cathode materials for Lithium Batteries in the BELLA lab. I have experience with material development, and diverse characterization techniques. Apart from that, adaptability and flexibility to work both independently and in a team are my strengths. I am also very motivated to learn and to face challenges with creativity and inquiry.
