Reporting directly to the President / CEO, led the assembly process of gearboxes for US Railway / Transit Authorities to include engineering changes and improvements, production, outsourced operations, quality inspection, testing, delivery, and customer relations. Implemented a leading-edge high-tech manufacturing technology aimed at slashing costs and improving overall efficiency. Facilitated technical, design and production meetings. Led key international projects.

Managed build process and quality assurance for the Ford Expedition / Lincoln Navigator 2007 prototype seat program. Additionally, supported production and quality at the JCI Bridgewater Interiors Plant in Warren, MI. • Collaborated with various cross-functional teams on Parts Matrix, SDT, and Design Review. • Managed PPAP, QA, inspection process, supplier approval process, and 8D and SPC requirements. • Served as a core team member collaborating with Ford Motor Company’s Michigan truck plant.

Led project management for full-scale development and production of horizontal hydraulic press. Complex project included mechanical engineering and design, hydraulics, and electrics. Prepared documentation for project quotes, and developed purchase orders, bill of materials, cost sheets. Managed the key production process from raw material receiving to shipping for tubing part fabrication. Led operators and ran equipment for specific projects/parts. Oversaw up to 22 employees.

Selected to create and update Operator and Machine cycle Timing Sheets, and develop and update part-trees drawings and cost estimating summaries. Evaluated current and alternative processes for Ford’s P221 Dearborn Truck program. Met frequently with Ford Motor Company Engineering and Quality teams.
