Directly responsible for a staff of 80 in two different plants located in Canada and China. I manage all operational aspects of AutoMotionShade. Starting from strategic planning, R&D, purchasing and manufacturing strategies, to the planning and building of new manufacturing plants.

Responsibilities included: Product definition and leading the product development through all departments (hardware, firmware, software, production and marketing) into the market. In addition I was responsible for several of our key accounts and lead users. Responsible for the training of all our applications Engineers in Europe and North America.

During my two years with Bobst I mainly worked in China and England (9 months each). My responsibilities included: • Project Management of the installation (6-12 Mio SFr / installation) from start-up to final acceptance negotiations. • Management of project team (normally three mechanics and four electricians) • Supervision and training of the local staff (mainly construction staff and machine operators). • Write software to interface with local installations, databases and operational software.
