Working on structure analysis and stress engineering for composite parts, my work took me through a variety of tasks, from composite lay-up design to FEM analysis for CFRP parts, including analytical validation. The tools I used most often were Nastran, Patran, ISAMI and Abaqus. The core of my work was to do parametric studies and comparisons between different configurations in terms of structural stability. I've also made extended use of Excel formulas and VBA macros, assisting the post-processing phase.
