Mag. Elena Wetter

As Co-Manager, I'm responsible for overseeing the founding process of our NGO. I coordinate with public authorities and manage relations with other NGOs in the same field, oversee the planning of our teaching and learning programmes, fundraising and PR.

During my time at the Austrian Embassy in Beijing I worked on press and politics related issues. My responsibilities included writing reports and articles on various topics (chinese economy, China-EU/Austria relations, Yuan Clearing Banks in Europe, New Silk Road Project etc.), helping with the preparation of the working visit of three Austrian Ministers in October, serving as Liaison Officer to the Austrian Foreign Minister´s delegation and attending conferences and briefings.

After three months of internship at the Flextronics Shanghai Malu site I was employed by the company at their site near Shenzhen in Guangdong Province, China. My responsibilities included customer relations support, project management support, translations (from various languages to english), setting up and editing the campus newsletter, HR support and so on.
