Giju Thomas is a Global Material Coordinator at Ericsson Antenna Technologies Germany. He is a part of a brilliant multi-cultural environment working specifically with the Ericsson’s Supply Chain team that is spread across worldwide. His role primarily involves solving material challenges together with their broad portfolio of suppliers making sure that a heart of company so called as “production” keeps pumping without any constraints. He is extremely passionate about his field of work and always eager to learn the emerging trends and technologies that is helping to build more robust, sustainable and futuristic supply chains. He is very keen in actively contributing to his field throughout this professional career. Giju Thomas received a Masters in Business Administration from Hof University, Germany and has a Bachelors in Electronics and Communication from Sona College of Technology, India. He strongly believes in DREAMING BIG, if not for it he wouldn't be where he is :)

• Ensuring seamless material availability to our antenna production sites at China, Romania and Mexico • Driving escalations from the sites and planning managers towards the suppliers and solving them • Central point of contact between Sourcing, Supply chain, R&D and external suppliers for escalations • Managing materials between sites to optimize the inventory as well maintain buffer stock levels • Steering our collaboration with key EMS suppliers to achieve our production and sales targets
Functional area: Inventory management and Operational excellence Key activities: • End-to-end management of inventory and logistics for 2 warehouses in Stuttgart • Coordinated with a team of 8 Inventory associates and reported to the regional manager • Demand planning and forecasting together with the commercial team • Implementing new tools and processes that constantly challenges the status quo

Functional area: Operative purchasing Key activities: Deep learning about the cutting edge technologies used to shape the future procurement landscape ( SAP S/4 Hana, E-procurement platforms, Artificial intelligence) Key achievement: Developed a software robot named "PUD" that automated a manual, repetitive operative purchasing process from 13 hours to 45 minutes using "Robotic Process Automation"
