Provided internal and external evangelism on Cloud Computing, Managed Services, IaaS and Network-as-the-Platform. Involved in large Smart and Connected Communities’ opportunities in Southern Europe.

Joined Cisco as Integration Architecture Specialist. Helped establish and mentor the team and manage the delivery of the first reference-able solution globally. Evangelised on the new paradigm (Service-Oriented Network Architecture) internally (sales teams) and externally (workshops). Led the delivery of the first live deployment globally, turning around a difficult engagement and earning internal recognition across theaters.

Became a respected member of the business and application integration community, with several speaking engagements at industry events and regular contact with the press. As SME, good part of my time was spent interacting with vendors of business integration technology at executive level, assessing market developments and emerging trends, creating competitive strategies and giving procurement advice to my customers.

As part of the IT Systems Integration group I participated in several large programmes, taking on a variety of roles, mainly in the areas of IT/EAI strategy and EAI architecture and design, across vertical sectors (Telecoms, Financial Services, Government, Manufacturing).

Leader of the Systems Integration business unit – a group of 10 people building bespoke solutions using middleware and three-tier architectures, mainly in the Telecommunications space. I managed the team and all aspects of the day-to-day running of the business (delivering over $1m in revenue). Performed a series of roles from Business Analyst to Team Lead, rising fast in the organisation to become a regular member of the Senior Team.
