    Bringing a deep understanding of end user design and application requirements, I was responsible for designing new memory components and sub-systems for high speed digital applications. Product development was very sensitive to market windows, cost control. Many of the products were aimed at defence, or high reliability designs. Development of test solutions (hardware and software) for the testing of memory components and sub-systems on automatic test equipment (ATE).

    High speed digital ASIC and FPGA design for graphics processing, e.g. head-up displays and digital maps. Design of 1553, Panavia Link and bus/backplane interfaces. High speed PCB design. Development and debug of microprocessor based flight information systems, graphics processors, peripheral interfaces and video interfaces. Software development to control and verify real time applications. Liaison with customers and end users for integration purposes.
