Dr. Johannes Gadner

My main research interest is the interplay of human societies/cultures and innovative behaviour as well as the resulting emergence of innovation in the past and the present. I have dealt with this topic also in the context of my former position at the Austrian Council for Research and Technological Development. As a member of the Council’s management board, I was responsible for the preparation of an annual report on Austria’s scientific and technological capability. In terms of content, these reports also address the question of how to improve societal and organisational framework conditions to promote innovative behaviour and increase innovation performance (see https://www.rat-fte.at/performance-reports.html).
