Über mich
Mit dem Ziel, Kindern ein besseres Leben zu ermöglichen, studierte ich BWL, gesellschaftliche Dynamiken im östlichen Asien und Entwicklungspolitik. In Japan, China und Vietnam absolvierte ich Praktika, Schul-, Universitäts- und Forschungsaufenthalte zu den Themen Familie, Kinder und Bildung. Familiär bin ich mit Südostasien verbunden. Bei der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Hongkong gestaltete ich den Dialog mit politischen Partnern, Veranstaltungen für Schüler und Jugendliche, die Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und Publikationen über Energie- und Klimapolitik in ganz Asien. Seit 2018 bin ich in meinem eigentlichen Interessensgebiet bei der Kindernothilfe in Duisburg tätig. Zugang zu Bildung, Hygiene und medizinische Versorgung, Einkommenssicherung für Familien, Selbsthilfegruppen und Maßnahmen gegen Kinderheirat und -handel in Indien bilden die Schwerpunkte der Projekte in meiner Verantwortung. Daneben gestalte ich die programmatische und strategische Ausrichtung sowie den Finanzrahmen mit.
