Under supervision of Pr. Ralf-Peter Jansen, I am working on RNA-binding protein Bfr1p with its interacting mRNAs and its role in post-translational regulation (mRNA localization, protein expression and protein localization) in yeast as a model organism. To answer it, I am using Biochemical (sub-cellular fractionations, immuno-precipitations, confocal microscopy and immunoblotting), Cell biology (yeast growth and phenotype assays and FACS) and Molecular biology (cloning, PCR and qRT-PCR ) approach.

 Worked in prestigious lab of Prof. Dr. Reinhard Lührmann and Dr. Vladimir Pena.  Successfully cloned (Baculovirus), transfected and generated insect cell lines to express recombinant proteins Prp8 and Prp16 of human spliceosome in eukaryotic expression system.  Managed several recombinant protein production projects of the team and delivered 14 clones with single and double mutations within 2 weeks.
