I am a Postdoctoral Fellow and molecular and cell biologist at Universitetssykehuset Nord-Norge, where I conduct cutting-edge research on microRNAs for risk assessment and treatment of venous thromboembolism, a life-threatening condition that affects millions of people worldwide. I have a PhD in Biochemistry and over 8 years of experience in RNA biology and immunology, with a focus on biomarkers and therapeutics for thrombosis and cancer. My research skills include cell culture, transfection, RNA isolation, RT-qPCR, flow cytometry, ELISA, microarrays, and next-generation sequencing. I have published multiple peer-reviewed articles in reputable journals, and have received scholarships and fellowships for my academic excellence. I am passionate about advancing the knowledge and understanding of the molecular mechanisms and interactions of non-coding RNAs in human diseases and developing novel and effective strategies for diagnosis and intervention.
