Taking an AI route for predictive maintenance process digitalisation.

Work on, steer, and schedule several data science projects spanning from medical image analysis, biological Data analysis, and drug discovery with data integration and Machine/Deep Learning techniques. Acting as a team lead and scrum master with agile project road-mapping.

Use the CWL (Common Workflow Language), SBG platform, and cloud Computing (AWS, GCP) to build dockerized pipelines to analyze NGS data for different Pharma and Biotech companies (SAM tools, Pileup, Varscane, Whole-exome Sequencing, Whole Genome Sequencing, GATK tools). R&D in the field of Drug Discovery (small molecules chemical activity prediction). Model the compound-target affinity using Convolutional, Relational, and Siamese Neural Networks trained on Voxelized 3D representation of small molecules.

Besides being a developer, I built up an R&D team from scratch to work on internal and external projects wearing multiple hats as supervisor, interim Project / Product / Manager & Scrum Master. Writing and assessing Project Proposals, Work Breakdown Structure diagrams. Key developer & product owner of HUMEDS - a cutting edge telemedicine IOT solution empowered with algorithms capable to suggest the diagnosis to a doctor in real-time.

Conducting research related to my PhD. My focus was digital signal / image processing, and machine learning in the field of Biomedical Engineering.

Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, and maintenance of both hight-tech hardware and software infrastructure.
