In my role as Strategic Sourcing Manager I am supporting Global Assignments for the Drug Product and Packaging/Labeling Categories within the Contract Manufacturing Organization. This includes facilitating sourcing events, meeting business needs by leading sourcing processes from identification of requirements, understanding of the supply marketplace, conducting RFx events, and planning and conducting negotiations.

Sourcing support across all categories including regional sub category ownership, including identifying and driving improvements in categories and process. Project management responsibilities and manage the oversight of the procurement team’s portfolio of projects with the leader of the Procurement organization. Incorporate strategic sourcing methodology and tools that drive continuous improvement and optimize quality, cost, customer focus, innovation and relationship development.

Responsible for GMP sourcing and purchase of raw materials and components for large scale manufacturing including timely delivery of high quality products from suppliers. Coordination and communication with international departments, external suppliers and sourcing agents. Project management within area of responsibilities. Supplier relationship management as contract negotiation, qualification of new suppliers, new materials and performance follow up.

Raw material buyer for Givaudan Schweiz AG in Dübendorf ZH, Switzerland. Portfolio of Synthetics: Aroma chemicals / Commodities, Natural commodities: Citrus / Fruits, Natural specialities: Spices. Main focus on providing raw materials in the required quality at the demanded time in the needed quantity for the best possible price. Material issue management.

Buyer & seller for finished goods (soy sauce, rice, etc.) mainly from APAC and the US, distributing of the same food items directly into retail - mainly in Switzerland.

Sales advisor of high end and handmade jewelry, special focus on gemology expertise of colored gemstones, diamonds and watches.
