Overlooking and advising regarding all information technology projects at the ministry of finance of Egypt, which includes government electronic payment and transactions, electronic signature and PKI / government root certificate authority, General Financial Management Information System (GFMIS), Ministry Information center, all smart cards projects issued by the ministry of finance (e.g. Fuel card, subsidy cards, salary and pension cards,..etc)

Management of the federation staff (around 100 employees) contributing with central services and specialized expertise as follows: Support 16 different chambers of various industries representing all industries in Egypt and contributing to 27 industry committees advising the Egyptian government, Egyptian Industries, foreign investors and in all Issues related to the industry in general.

Management of the existing key accounts in MEA region, business development, product marketing and sales of IRIS products and services. Major Projects and achievements: 1-Acquisition and implementation of Contract for National ID factory’s upgrade and maintenance for the factory (10 M Euro project) 2- Different Projects in Egypt and other countries in the region for E-ID, E-Passports and PKI. 3- Business development for various smart cards applications in the MEA region

Started at Giesecke & Devrient GmbH (G&D) in Munich, as Middle East and Africa Telecom Sales Director and as of 2002 has been promoted to Managing Director of G&D Egypt Ltd, Managing Director G&D Egypt Services and G&D branch in Egypt. The subsidiaries were responsible for sales, marketing and technical support for the entire Middle East and North African region, from Pakistan until Morocco.G&D Egypt established & operated the first independent EMV Chip Card personalization center for commercial banks.

Business development and sales of mobile telecom products in the region. Major Projects and achievements: 1-Concluded Orascom Telecom preferred supplier contract worldwide 2- Projects in Oman, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran and South Africa for Mobile Telecom

responsible for the sales, marketing, PR and media communication in the region Middle East, Turkey,Africa and RoW for the product line of chip cards integrated circuits for various smart cards applications, and overviewing and coordinating the sales activities of the subsidiaries in this region out of the HQ in Munich.

Started as IC-Test and Simulation Engineer, promoted to Group leader Production Testing, then Head of the department Test Engineering and at last promoted to World-Wide marketing and application support Manager for Sensors.
