As an Afghan-German multidisciplinary expert, I have a doctoral degree in political science focusing on governance and state-building efforts in conflict-affected countries such as Afghanistan from Germany’s Potsdam University, and a Master’s degree with a specialization in Crisis Management from Turkey’s Fatih University. My education is accompanied by more than 10 years of research, consultancy, and policy advice in the fields of Governance, Anti-Corruption, Public Administration Reforms, Public Policy, Migration, and Higher Education. As a practitioner, I have worked with various international organizations such as GIZ, USAID, UN, IOM mainly in Afghanistan, but also in Germany, Turkey, Georgia, Iran, and India. I am fluent in English, Dari, Persian, Turkish, and have moderate, but rapidly improving levels of German and Pashto language skills.
