Transitioned to Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) as the Systems Integration and Test (I&T) Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead and Cost Account Manager (CAM) for an Electro-Optical/Infrared (EOIR) program. Fulfilled a stretch assignment as the technical volume lead and managed a team of Subject Matter Experts (SME) in the submission of a winning bid for an approximate $300M contract.

Manager of an international consortium of Optical Inter-Satellite Link (OISL) payload providers for tranche 0 of Space Development Agency (SDA) LEO proliferated constellation satellite development program with responsibilities covering both the technical and programmatic aspects of the program. My primary responsibility was liaising between the SDA, Naval research Laboratory and numerous payload suppliers coordinating the successful delivery of OSILs for the first two proof-of-concept orbital rings.

Principal member of programmatic leadership team with responsibility as space vehicle architect, project engineer and overall Integrated Product Team (IPT) technical team leader. I was responsible for executing the executive vision of transforming the business from a poor performing spacecraft manufacturer into a high performing, product line enterprise with direct oversight over technical direction, planning and staffing and authority over technical staff members from all sub- discipline space vehicle IPTs

Space vehicle project engineer and architect for high profile international Cost Plus, Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract for the first United Arab Emirates interplanetary program carrying three optical payloads in the ultraviolet, visible and infrared spectrums. As the Front-Line Manager (FLM) I was responsible for the growth, leadership, and mentoring of a multinational team of more than 15 engineers from multiple organizations, international geographic locations, and technical disciplines..

Technical domain lead for a consortium of international technical personnel and suppliers on an optical payload. Working with the payload primary structural vendor I was responsible for the successful introduction of lean manufacturing techniques and solving a long lead item issue. Ownership of the following: mechanical and thermal schedules; supply chain management; systems engineering; detailed strength and thermal analysis of flight hardware; subsystem integration and test.

Managed the schedule and technical budgets for the propulsion, structural and thermal hardware for the SmallGEO product line with budgets exceeding 2.5M € on internal development programs and existing Cost-Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF) contracts with total contract values ranging from 200M - 300M €. By providing technical authority I managed, and mentored a team of engineers and successfully injected cost-effective, commercial approaches to existing processes across several programs.

Responsible engineer (CPE/CAM/EPM hybrid) for the main-body (BUS) structural designs with responsibilities over staffing, financial, schedule and technical budgets averaging $1M for Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contracts with total contract values ranging from $200M - $300M USD. After leading the successful mass reduction effort of 10kg (22lb) from primary and secondary structural elements on a mass challenged program I was placed in the additional role of composite central cylinder SME for all programs.

Lead engineer for all 5.4m payload fairing (PLF) mission unique modifications managing the financial, schedule and technical budgets for aero, structure and thermal hardware on multiple projects with budgets exceeding $1.0M. During this tenure I successfully implemented three distinct, first of their kind design lower environmental conditioning systems for the Atlas V 5.4m launch vehicle and was the engineering liaison between AtlasV Common Core Booster and Centaur upper stage manufacturing and engineering.

Lead engineer and subject matter expert for all 5.4m payload fairing (PLF) mission unique acoustic attenuation modifications.

Designed space-flight structural hardware for antenna tower modules including brackets, panels and waveguide assemblies utilizing composite and metallic materials Created structural assembly drawings and maintained product structure for various projects.
