The main focus is on neonatal chronic lung disease in preterm infants by investigating structural changes and altered growth factor (PDGF) signaling upon exposure to moderate prenatal cigarette smoke on developing lungs in a mouse model. The study is based on main following techniques: histologic endpoints, western blot, immunoblot, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Immunofluorescence (IF), PCR & qPCR, harvest and culture peritoneal primary, stem cells and myo fibroblast in femur and lungs of mice.
