Leading the world wide IT activities in the diverse arvato SCM group includes IT operations and development, technology change directions, guiding more than 1500 internal and external IT staff, empowering a globally growing team. IT covers infrastructure, software development, IT operations, IT and Data Security, ERP Application and processes. We are underway to transform our business to become truly digital. The IT plays a crucual part in this exciting cultural change we have started.

Starting the strategy office in arvato SCS we focused on the support for the business units, building common platforms for them in CRM and Marketing,. We established a strategic framework with the business units and the Bertelsmann Corporation, deliverd interim management and excecuted M&A activities. During the transition to the CIO role I continued to serve in a dual role until handing over the strategy part.

leading the global ecommerce activities for the hightech industry segement Ecommerce including the leading client Microsoft. Covering Financial Services, Supply Chain, IT Ecommerce Solutions. Driving digital business models and running the with end to end P&L responsibility

Running and developing the global programs for the top client Microsoft across financial services, supply chain and CRM. This included all´personell and P&L responsibilites and the responsibility for the the global financial services department. In the financial services segment we built a cross client services base during this time, launched Ecommerce platforms and designed new supply chains across diverse lines of business.

Manging Site Relocations, Business transitions from competitors, new business implementations, desiging and building end to end supply chains including CRM, financial services, logistiscs & transport based on SAP technology and support systems Subsequently taking over the business ownership role as an account manager

starting the professional carrer as a trainee in 3 companies of the Rheinmetall AG was an exciting start: with Hirschmann / Neckartenzlingen building up a Balanced Scorecard for the company followed by 6 months at KUS / Wisconsin USA in the pistons production engineering department and finishing at STN / Bremen to develop an IT Security Concept for the group.
