Pia Ehlers

I consult to Connect ZA, a British Council's arts programme that aims at connecting creative communities in South Africa and the UK. The programme includes opportunities for showcasing, collaboration, innovation and professional development with a number of events and projects throughout 2013-2015 and spans across a number of art forms. Prior to this role, I worked as an advisor to the English and Society divisions and was involved with a number of HR related projects.

I lead a team of communications professionals and thus oversee all communications and marketing activities for the British Council's cultural relations programme in Germany including the arts, society, English and education. In addition, l'm the communications lead on various pan-European programmes and head up the Customer Service division in Germany. I am currently on leave from that role and temporarily work for the British Council in South Africa.
