• Responsibility for a Group Shared Service Center servicing all DT affiliates in Europe • Managing a team of 100 professionals in multiple cross-country locations • Delivery of engineering services for mobile and fixed-line devices • Certification of DT’s international mobile/fixed device portfolio • Certification of chipsets, modules and devices for Internet of Things (IoT) • Integration of innovation on devices, e.g. VoLTE, Vectoring, etc. • Business transformation (near-shoring, offshoring)

• Define and drive the strategy for the business area Service Management of Deutsche Telekom Group Technology. • Drive the evolution of customer experience management as end-to-end concept focused on the end-customer • Provide Deutsche Telekom group-wide KPI definition and monitoring

• Co-started a new company that creates and hosts telephony based voice services in an Application Service Provider (ASP) business model. • Created and built application development and engineering teams with offices in Paris (F), Maastricht (NL) and Atlanta (US). First service deployments in France and UK. • Defined the Supplitel architecture for Voice Portal systems built around web servers, application servers and voice gateways. • Developed the Supplitel Service Creation Methodology with sophisticat

• Responsibility for the sales engineering department of Philips Speech Processing for the North American market. • Created and trained sales engineering teams in Dallas, Atlanta and Puerto Rico with direct reports (sales engineers) in all locations • Development of one of the industry’s first voice portal application (US West DEX) • System consulting for speech recognition systems in IVR platforms (Comverse, Periphonics, Intervoice, Lucent)

• Building the US office for Philips Dialogue Systems • Technical support of the sales team during pre and post sales for voice enabled telephony services for vertical (financial, telco, health, travel) and horizontal markets (call centers, platform providers) • First major contract for Philips Dialogue Systems in North America • Acted as liaison between Philips USA/Europe for product management • Adapted product software for US telephony environment and built US specific demonstration systems using nat

• Deployment of a complete software solution for call center automation (Federal Swiss Rail, SBB) • Project won Philips’ “Customer Champion” prize in 1996 • Full cycle project management.
