Overall responsibility for the scientific and technical conduct of virus and prion clearance studies (e.g. ÄKTA chromatography, nanofiltration, low pH,…) and confirmation of overall compliance of these studies with the OECD Principles of Good Laboratory Practice. • Management and conduct of Clearance Studies (Writing of Study Plans, Laboratory protocols, Conduct of runs, Documentation, Analysis, Interpretation & Reporting of Results) • Liasing with Sponsors and Clients, Management and QA

Key Tasks and Responsibilities included: • Conduct of cytotoxicity and Interference testing as well as spiked runs (e.g. ÄKTA chromatography, nanofiltration, low pH, solvent/detergent treatment) for GLP and non-GLP virus and prion clearance studies • Performance of laboratory testing (e.g. TCID50 titration, Western Blot,…) • Routine laboratory work (e.g. cell culture (freezing/thawing/propagation/seeding), cell and virus stock production,..) • Creation, revision and review of GxP conform documents

Title of Thesis: “The Role of the Tyrosinkinase 2 in the Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma” Grade: 1 The relevance of Tyrosinkinase 2 as therapeutic target and its inhibition with the selective TYK2 inhibitor Bayer-18 was investigated. Effects on proliferation and signal transduction in the JAK/STAT pathway in human ALCL cell lines were monitored.
