Dr. Saso Mladenovski

o Responsible for all R&D activities in PIS/CCTV for developing electronics products for rolling stock (EN 50155) in the transit market o Resource management of international teams (Germany, France, China, Switzerland,…) o Defining product & technology strategic roadmaps. o Support sales and marketing in bidding, customer lobbing and product advertising. o Supervising R&D projects including joint developments. o Managing intellectual property.

o Technical lead and project management of research projects and bringing new display technologies to a mature level by demonstrating a proof of concept (POC) in close collaboration with all project stakeholders. o Transfer the newly developed technologies and know-how to our engineering departments and continuously follow their implementation during the product development and industrialization cycle. o Protecting intellectual property with patent applications.

o Research, development and tracking on new display technologies (LCD, AMOLED) and optical sensors. o Delivering Proof of Concepts and demonstrators. o Making and participating in consortiums for large publicly funded research projects by EU or Belgian funding authorities. o Patenting new technologies in close collaboration with patent officers.

o Development of LED backlight systems for Air Traffic Control displays. o Building optical setups and performing measurements of key display components

Optical measurements and simulations on outcoupling solutions for Organic Light Emitting Devices (OLEDs) in the framework of Integrated European projects OLED100.eu (www.oled100.eu) and OLLA (www.hitech-projects.com/euprojects/olla/). Extensive collaboration with industrial and academic partners in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
