RakiaSHOP is an importer, exporter and distributor of boutique, individually selected rakia (fruit brandies) only with activities either directly or through its partners in a growing number of European countires, mainly Bulgaria, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It is the only company spcialized in high end fruit brandies from all over the Balkans. Focused on B2B sales, coaching, tastings and consulting services with regard to rakia and fruit brandies in general.

Responsible for the investment portfolios (mostly fixed income instruments - bonds, loans, money market instruments, etc) of the Czech Republic, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, initially also for Austria and Germany. Major expertise in making and monitoring asset allocations (strategic and tactical), financial planning, consulting and helping the subsidiaries regarding investments as well as asset liability management especially on the FX and duration side.

The program was structured in a way enabling me to acquire knowledge in all aspects of the insurance business directly from the responsible departments and participate in trainings organized by specialized consultants in different fields. The program also included working on a number of strategic projects on a local level in six different countries.

Extremely useful experience in the field of investment banking. My main duties included financial modelling and the preparation of valuations.

Active part in the assessment of loan requests and the preparation of reports of loans and accounts with outstanding amounts; preparation of papers setting out conditions and periods of loans and rates of payment, and the preparation of statements of overdue accounts and their forwarding for legal action; participated in the recommending for approval of loans and commercial credit applications.
