Promoted to Head Judge, Snowsports after a category shift at the ISPO Award. Snowsports incorporates Action Sports, Winter Outdoor, Apparel & Ski. I have a team of 20 category pros and snowsports lifers on the jury team - it's my job to help pick them (as well as the products in the showcase) - and in the Head Judge role I encourage debate, have quieter members speak up, suppress dogmatic or prejudiced thinking and reach consensus to select Winners, Gold Winners and the Product Of The Year.

Wrote preseason hardgoods product previews for this pivotal action sports B2B publication. Contributed to partner publications and exhibitions using product analysis & copywriting skills.

Overall responsibility for hardgoods purchasing, sales and store marketing in 400m² Chamonix store. Plenty of time on floor doing sales & service, progressed into merchandising, strategy & brand direction. Grew splitboard to n°1 in France. Online, responsible for strategy and site development via Prestashop BO. Online is 30% of business and growing. Ran content strategy & implementation, wrote copy, edited product pages, hired marketing assistant, curated shop social accounts... all /zerogchamonix.

Sales and customer service for Ski programme (winter) and Lakes programme (summer). Managed team of three and responsible for cash-handling, resort accounting, performance monitoring and feedback. Responsible for all guest logistics on winter transfer day across three gateway airports in three different time zones.

Provided access to "can't get into" events and venues for high net worth individuals. Clients were bankers/traders/senior execs and very demanding. My role was fixer, employed to maintain member relations and upkeep relationships with existing suppliers - mostly leading restaurants and nightclubs in London, New York & Monte Carlo, but also organisations like FIA F1, FIFA and Roland Garros, providing event access to members.
