I am a battery test engineer with background in mechanical engineering and materials science who has in-depth knowledge in the following areas. - Clarifying test requirements, developing test setups, organizing test plans, reviewing and analyzing test results, and preparing reports. - International test standards and guidelines (IEC, Sand, UN/UL, SAE, ISO, FreedomCAR,...). - Mechanical (crash test, nail puncture,...), thermal (shock, fire,...) and electrical tests (short circuit, overcharge,...). - Thermal runaway characteristics of lithium-ion batteries. - Abuse test conditions: Gas and heat release, exothermic reaction, fire and explosion, heat dispersion, air pollution,... - EUCAR Hazard Levels
