(1) FUTURES COACHING: Based on scenario planning methodology, this coaching takes the form of a 1-on-1 "sparring partner" relationship aimed at generating strategically eye-opening insights (2) WORKSHOPS: Conducted with a company's management team, or as team-building events for groups wanting to generate interesting notions about the future of their industry or company.

(1) Repositioning the school as a business school - its historical profile leaned more toward the practical than the academic; (2) Worldwide acquisition of new students: communication and recruitment in source markets in Asia, Europe and North America; helping develop new admission criteria and processes; defining academic programs that the school should develop; (3) Building up the school's institutional relationships with leading companies in the hospitality industry around the world.

This bank was the Swiss private banking arm of Royal Trust, a large Canadian financial group. My work entailed development of promotional and communication platforms for the bank, especially geared toward new client acquisition in Canada and Germany. The bank was absorbed into Royal Bank of Canada in 1993.

Co-responsible with the rest of the Executive Board for developing the themes of the Forum's Annual Meeting in Davos; responsible for developing a private CEO-to-CEO electronic communication network; helped plan high-level government/business meetings for the following countries: Austria, USSR, Germany, USA, Brazil, Hungary, Vietnam, as well as regional meetings (Middle East, Southern Africa).

Graphis remains one of the world's pre-eminent design publishing companies, with a flagship magazine and a number of hardcover design annuals. My job as General Manager was to oversee day-to-day operations of the company, develop programs for acquiring new subscribers and book buyers, and liaise with the company's owners in New York.

Various positions held during this time, including marketing financial communication products on the Swiss market and offshore trust administration (private banking).

(At that time the company was still called CIBA-Geigy.) Central Product Manager in the company's Pharma Division, responsible for developing marketing concepts for a range of anti-rheumatic and analgesic products.

As an exchange student, I chose a wide range of liberal arts subjects to study (all in German).
