Research on design and modeling, throughput analysis and security optimization of 4G LTE/5G wireless technologies such as full-duplex radios, hetnets, cognitive radios, C-RAN, millimetre wave, massive MIMO and D2D communications; and User Fairness issues in Non-orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) schemes.

Giving lectures, tutorials and MATLAB/Python/C/C++ based laboratory experiments on selected topics of wireless communications: small and large scale fading; statistical characterization of fading channels; modulation schemes and bounds of error rate analysis; diversity schemes; capacity of binary, AWGN and fading channels; WiFi, Zigbee and Bluetooth technologies; IEEE 802.11 standards; evolution of wireless technology; and deep analysis on orthogonal and non-orthogonal multiple access schemes.

Research on user and network modeling and PHY layer security issues using stochastic geometry tools and ranging techniques in vehicular network (IEEE 802.11p architecture).

Giving tutorials, on field measurements and MATLAB related experiments on wireless localization algorithms. The topics covered include fundamental introduction and evaluation of wireless localization algorithms such as the MinMax, least square (LS) and multidimensional scaling (MDS) algorithms.

Giving lecture for undergraduate students, assisting or guiding students in the laboratory works, advising students regarding their bachelor thesis and project works and participating in research & course material preparation.

Modeling/designing/optimization/standardization of wireless mobile communications; stochastic geometry, PHY layer security, interference mitigation in 4G/5G wireless networks; user fairness in non-orthogonal multiple access schemes and ranging in vehicular networks.
