The job involves: • Building detailed chemistry data sets. • Multiphysics modeling. • Particle-In-Cell modeling. The job also includes: • Sharing expertise on plasma discharge and insights on physical phenomena. • Proposing new design, new gas mixtures, new process conditions.

    I was in charge of optimizing the production of chemical species in microwave air micro-plasmas generated in capillary tubes: Application to bio-medical and organic materials decontamination. • Adapted a global model (space averaged) coupled to the Boltzmann equation: enriched the chemistry of the N2-O2 system. • Derived new transport equations for charged species in micrometer-scale capillary tubes. • Actively collaborated with an abroad experimental team to perform comparisons with measurements.

    I was in charge of improving the understanding of electron tranport in Hall thruster (electric propulsion). • Developed a numerical model using the Particle-In-Cell method to characterize the plasma of a Hall thruster. • Studied plasma instabilities and electron transport in the Hall thruster. • Set up and management of the team supercomputer (hardware, software).
