Job Description
The role of Master Data Management Specialist is to ensure high data quality and consistency across various systems to support efficient and smooth business processes. The position also includes administrative coordination within portfolio planning and product projects. Orchestrating and tracking meetings and tasks ensures structured and effective collaboration between teams.
Tasks and areas of responsibility:
- Expert role for master data management
- Defines, implements and trains users on SAP-related business processes
- Support in creating master data for new products within a project team
- Close cooperation with the Global Governance Team at the international headquarters
- Coordination of smaller projects, including scheduling, resource management and continuous monitoring of project progress
- Creation of project plans including milestones and project risk analyses
- Early identification of conflicts or deviations from targets and initiation of appropriate solutions
- Administrative coordination in the portfolio planning process, including organizing meetings, agenda creation, taking minutes, and tracking tasks and reminders
- Promotes and ensures a positive working environment within the project teams
Technical requirements :
- Completed business or technical vocational training
- Experience with database structures and initial experience in master data management desirable
- General knowledge of SAP modules (SD, MM, WM, QM, PP, FICO) required
- Knowledge of project management methods and tools is an advantage

- Analytical and structured thinking to make data processes efficient
- Strong communication and facilitation skills to unite different interests and convince stakeholders
- Organizational skills and accuracy, especially in planning and coordinating meetings and projects
- Results- and solution-oriented approach to successfully implement goals and objectives
- Teamwork and communication skills to promote a positive working environment
Language skills:
- Fluent written and spoken German and English (B2-C1)
