I am leading a team of over 100 scientists active in several projects centered around Robotics, IoT, and Autonomous Driving (AD). Given my academic background in AI Robotics, leadership, and hands-on experience from companies in California, I see my personal mission in driving and supporting the process of digitalization of Bosch and its products. I am involved in strategical decisions making regarding robotics and AD including direct communication and pitching to the upper management.

My responsibilities included: Leadership and supervision of several software engineers and scientists. Architect of iRobot’s next generation navigation and user interaction software, which is the basis for current and future robot platforms such as Roomba. Development of Cloud-based Deep Learning techniques applied to millions of customer maps. Conceptional design and development of advanced planning and cleaning behaviors. US patents on magnetic field localization and CleanMap related technologies.
