After few years in different companies on the BASF -Ludwigshafen platform covering also positions related with the site management, I am now since 2020 active part in the Turnaround Management Team for the TDI-BASF plant as Mechanical&Piping Turnaround Coordinator looking to cover the preparation and conducting the Shutdown activities especially for the HCL segment of this TDI, one of the biggest engineering development in BASF Ludwigshafen.

As ASU/Utilities Superintendent I am looking to complete all last activities renaming not done (construction, testing, per-commissioning, completion, start-up)after the sub-contrarcator close all parts as per contract.

Coordinating completion of final stages for ASU (Air Separation Unit) systems from sub-contractor, Techint Cimimontubi side. This actions referring to completing mechanical activities for equipments and piping lines, as systems TP’s (test packages) following by closing after test the required Post Testing Punch Item Lists for each system and pre-commissioning activities in order to conduct these to Mechanical Completion (MC) and Ready for Commissioning (RFC) stages.

In this organization I was responsible with implementing these Mechanical Trainings, Piping and Equipment’s to DEWA Maintenance Team. This activity was done during 4 weeks in which ones I was preparing the Power Point representation of these courses using the Construction documentation and Operation Manual of this station and directly teaching this Mechanical Maintenance team based upon these courses.

Cooler Area (Radiators), Unloading Station, Tank Farm, Fuel Pump House and Power House Building, piping and supports erection activities done by the mechanical subcontractor, EKL – Pakistan, for connecting 11 pcs. MAN engines and 1 pcs. Dresser turbine with the support systems (HFO- Heavy Fuel Oil, Diesel Oil, Lube Oil, Steam Generation, Water Supply, Charge Air Cooling Water, Engine Cooling Water, Blow Down, Working Air)

Sulphur Storage and Loading Area (since 3 months) covering supervision activities in the Sulphur Jacketed Lines Systems and Auxiliary Systems follows piping and supports erection as Test Pack’s completions.Covering the Flare and Off Site Knock Out Drum Chemical Storage Area with main duties to coordinate piping and supports activities of Main Steam System and Blow Down System, activities that are done by Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) under my supervision

Utility Area with main duties for erection of six boilers (355 t, 63 bar, 440 degree Celsius) fabricated by MACCHI TM a division of “SOFINTER” S.p.A. Italy. Piping erection for Air Compressors “KOBELCO KOBE STEEL. LTD” (suction pipe and cooling lines), Boiler Feed Water Pumps “NUOVO PIGNONE BARI” (oil system; control oil, oil supply, oil return oil discharge, oil suction), Carbon Filter Package Train “UNIDRO S.p.A (lube oil system).

Working in an engineering team (“Fix it now”) who was supporting Operational party in a predictive way with recording date directly from field (sketches and measurements) for situations rise by them which could became nonconformance with good functions of nuclear piping system in Cernavoda Unit 1 Nuclear Power Plant .

Leading worker teams in a professional manner following to respect quality and schedule requirement and a good safety level (weekly technical commissions followings indicated procedures complete approved by Management Team – SNN –AECL - ANSALDO).
