Eike is a digital marketer with more than 13 years experience in the digital space. He is passionate about growing brands & eCom businesses in the FMCG and luxury industry with a proven track record in global, regional and local roles. Eike is heading the global digital marketing activities in the laundry & home care division for Henkel since beginning of 2020. He is responsible for 3 digital marketing priorities: next level campaigns (data driven creatives), consumer experience (evolving digital touchpoints & digital maturity) and the tech stack (digital marketing ecosystem & web roll outs). Before joining Henkel, Eike was Head of Data Driven Creatives at Beiersdorf. Until 2017 he was Head of Global Digital Operations at La Prairie Group (luxury tier of Beiersdorf) in Switzerland. Between 2014 and 2015 as Senior Regional Digital Manager at Beiersdorf he was responsible for the strategic development of Digital Marketing & eCommerce in the region Asia & Australia based in Shanghai.

Overall responsibility for planning, operating & continuously improving all of La Prairie’s digital assets Central operations for 20 international / 6 transactional sites operated on Demandware Global project lead: La Prairie website relaunch in 6 months including platform redesign, mobile first strategy, UX&UI eCommerce roll out China: priority owned store & luxury division Tmall (Alibaba) Team lead global Web Management, Digital Merchandising, Front End Development & QA as well as external partners
Strategic development of Digital Marketing & eCommerce for the APAC region Additionally execution of local digital marketing operations for the priority country China. Including 2 global skin care brands: NIVEA and NIVEA Men as well as 3 local Chinese hair care brands: Slek, Herb Expert and Maestro. As a team member, contributed to 60% increase in profitable eCommerce sales in China from 2013 to 2016 to become Beiersdorf’s most extensive eCommerce market of today.
