Primary research scientist working on molecular cell-to-cell trafficking and virus-host interactions. Establishment of research and respective techniques in the field of sRNA at the department. Development and supervision of an independent research project in this field for a masters student. Supervision and project development together with my supervisor for a doctoral researcher.

Primary research scientist investigating molecular cell-to-cell trafficking/communication and virus-host interactions by studying poleroviral movement protein MP17 in Arabidopsis thaliana and tobacco. Main focus on reverse genetics (molecular mapping), laser confocal microscopy, cell biology, in planta protein expression and purification. Independent project planning and supervision of four diploma / masters students and several undergraduate students in the lab.
