Project Manager in charge of off-site infrastructure for the development of the "Fruta del Norte" mining project (FDN), a gold project located in the Zamora Region of Ecuador with a total CapEx of 760 MUSD. Worked as Project Manager on behalf of the owner (Freeport Minerals Inc, NYSE: FCX) for the “Cerro Verde Production Unit Expansion” (CVPUE), 240 KTPD expansion project, resulting in the largest copper mine in the world (by 2015) with a total output of 360 KTPD and a total CapEx of 4,600 MUSD.

In charge of forecasting, planning and coordinating several EPC projects for Repsol YPF in Ecuador, with a global value of $10 millions, which includes: Water Tanks, Oil Process Facilities, Well head facilities & Pumps stations. Main duties includes: Project management, Progress report, Weekly billings & Billings report, Project Forecasting, Engineering-Purchasing-Construction coordination.

I realized the technical bid offer and supervising the structures, equipment & piping up, hydrostatic test and commissioning of Arco Oriente Villano Project in its three main bases: Villano, Puyo and Baeza, Ecuador and City Investing Co. (today, ENCANA) Tarapoa Pump Station & Main Process Facilities at Tarapoa, Ecuador.

Lead a work team of 5 people (a “cell unit”) to perform open hole evaluations: CDN, IPL, NGR, TBL, Platform Express, etc. Performed data log interpretation prior to develop completion and production well strategies as well as cemented holes evaluations to determine cementation quality and “curing” processes in case of deficient cementation.
