Area of responsibility: • Worldwide responsibility for all methods and tools in the area Software and Systems Engineering of SiemensVDO and Continental Automotive Systems (concerns the day-to-day work of more than 12,000 engineers). • Consulting to the Executive Management. • Common strategic coordination together with the groups´ Strategic Planning dept., Vehicel Integration dept., CIO, RD heads, RD process responsibles.

Area of responsibility: • Worldwide responsibility for the internal application development. • Directing the Shared Service Applications and Support. • Worldwide responsibility for MES incl. shopfloor control and manufacturing reporting with significant impact on 2/3 of the group´s global manufacturing volume. • Directing a total of 120 employees in 3 continents, 11 countries, direct impact on 23 factories, 500 applications, 50 SW suppliers. • Coordination of the introduction of CMMI within IT.

Area of responsibility: • Right hand of the Director of IT Governance, managing the associated team. • Managing the internal application development and the corresponding application support department. Projects: • Setup of a shared service for application development incl. SAP. • Setup of an IT nearshoring location in Timisoara/Romania with 70 employees. • Concept for the reorganization of the global IT

Area of responsibility: • Global responsibility for all commercial and internal eBusiness and web applications. Projects: • Integration of the Intranet teams of Mannesmann VDO and Siemens Automotive during the merger of both companies and taking over the associated management position. • Development and rollout of a central and global group Intranet the first time in the history of Siemens. • Standardization of the internal (IT) software development.

Area of responsibility: • Central process consulting for eBusiness-relevant solutions of the group • Coordination between Siemens Automobiltechnik and the Siemens AG Center of eExcellence. • Central responsibility for contract management to the suppliers of eBusiness and web-based solutions. • Reduction of complexity and costs of solution portfolio in cooperation with suppliers and purchasing. • Consolidation of spin-offs.

Area of responsibility: • Building the link between operational regional organization (project house) and central product development (product house). • Coordination of the RD planning of the standard products SQLblending and ENVICON (ERP for medium-sized businesses in the process industry). • Ensuring the transition of operational add on development and know-how transfer from the company´s projects in the field to the central development group.

Development of dynamic solutions for the Internet, Intranet and Extranet. Setup of a sales organization in Germany. • Coordination of development teams between US-UK-Serbia-Germany. • Promoting and project of web solutions for IR (Investor Relations), HR (Human Resources), E-Learning and online publishing.

• Execution of numerous IT trainings for CDI Deutsche Private Akademie (Mannheim, Munich, Frankfurt), DEKRA Akademie (Stuttgart, Mannheim, Regensburg) and many other companies and government driven organizations. • Special focus on: (1) project management. (2) programming languages. (3) web design. (4) database programming.
