Program Manager for phase-change memory programs. Complete life-cycle management including: SOW, budgeting & resourcing, scheduling, execution, program closure and final technology transfer. Process Development of heterogeneous layer films using PVD, ALD, atomic layer etching, and associated metrology techniques (XRD, XRF, XPS, XRR, SEM, Ellipsometry). Workflow development and runsheet management. Start up and qualification of new process equipment, establishing baseline processes.

Analyzed existing engineering and business processes, identifying savings of $1.5M+ a year. Submitted a proposal of changes to the business and management structure, critical hiring needs, critical areas for improved operational efficiency and quality control to the chairman. Managed all hardware aspects of the launch of Google Wallet, a mobile payments solution using NFC, and its on-going development. Developed and executed the creation of an automated testing capability for the Google Wallet program.

Led development project of company’s primary product focus, a packaged RF MEMS switch, including managing of PhD­level contractors, interacting with vendors, and preparing of marketing report to management team. Brought to completion two Department of Defense contracts worth more than $1.6million. Managed process development teams for separate but concurrent projects for MEMS micromirrors, MEMS gyros, safe & arm devices, varactors, and microdetonators.

Advised management team of Transducer Technologies, Inc., Newark, CA on company strategy, completed CAD design, product design, and manufacturing process for a new nanotechnology­based sensor. Created comprehensive business plan with senior management team involving extensive market research and preparation of go­to­market plan. Evaluated product/market opportunities in nanotechnology and met with industry leaders.

Developed manufacturing process for carbon nanotube (CNT) sensor devices using standard semiconductor industry technology. Designed and implemented twenty iterations of CNT sensor device, achieving yield of over 99% and increasing volume by four orders of magnitude. Completed alpha and beta phase development with beta product shipped to customers. Developed and implemented manufacturing of second­generation product, CO2 sensors based on CNT sensor platform.

Stress­tested new software and hardware products versus a range of parameters including WHQL industry standard, documented results, collaborated with hardware and software engineers on solutions leading to successful passing of tests, thereby readying product for market introduction. Completed and submitted test series of 30+ new software and hardware products for various OEM customers to Microsoft for WHQL certification. Briefed QA management on testing status, progress on solution implementation

Collaborated on team improving efficiency and reducing error rate of existing products by 15%. Drove improvements to calibration of the product software and hardware, allowing for tighter tolerances and increased capabilities of existing systems, and meeting specifications outlined for next generation products.

Created multimedia database, a vital tool in support of the sales team. Designed presentations for the sales team utilizing MS PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Photoshop. Developed sales manual for clients (other banks and financial institutions), a mainstay of the company’s product placement, driving company growth. Briefed JBIFS managers on features and use of the multimedia database and sales manual.
