In Germany, it is often still the family background that determines the educational path. Aachen University of Applied Sciences and RWTH Aachen University now want to change this with the first student scholarship program in the Aachen region, funded by the Ministry for Schools and Education of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. The NRWTalente scholarship is intended to support high-achieving and committed students who come from a non-academic home with targeted measures on their educational path.
