Responsible for the cross-border e-Commerce acquiring business at Caixa Catalunya Bank.

€-Confidential was an EUREKA/ITEA European Research Program. The goal of the project was to establish a safe and trustworthy security platform for multiple service applications to protect end-users from the growing number of threats to be found in cyberspace. The platform made use of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components and function with a wide range of common devices from personal computers to mobile phones. It was cofunded by the Spanish and French Ministries of Industry and by the Finish IT agency

PASEDI “Pagos y Servicios a Distancia” project developed and implemented a new payment application based on NFC (Near Field Communication) over mobile phone devices.

PROxPAGO “Pagos por Proximidad” project developed a new payment gateway based on wireless technologies (RFID, Bluetooth, contact-less smartcard and NFC) and being compliant with Visa / MasterCard EMV requirements.

The project developed and implemented a PC-based platform to develop applications based on digital signature and secure payment over UMTS handsets leveraging the bandwidth of this protocol. The overall solution was based in X509v3 certificates stored, beside their corresponding private keys, in a crytographic Smart Card.

ASPA-e project developed a new application to support secure payments under TCP/IP protocols and based on EMV Smart Card. The overall solution was PC and PDA supported.

TUNA (Tarjeta Universitaria con Nueva Aplicaciones - New Applications for University Cards -) developed a new EMV JAVA CARD multi-application (Banking services, Identification university card and Biometric digital signature).

Proven abilities in the design and commercialisation of products and services related to bank payment systems (credit card, business card, cash dispensers, POS, vending,...). I have also participated in the integration of the smart card EMV in financial card issuing processes.
