Tasks: - Lead and support process improvement activities - Give trainings to develop process improvement experts - Introduce and train “5s” in terminal Frankfurt and the head office - Roll out of performance dialogues at DHL Freight Germany negotiations with the workers council (in alignment with terminal manager) - Coach process improvement experts in performing their process improvement activities - Execute Lean-Management projects

Tasks: - Plan and book truck capacity, based on customer demand - Plan driving routes considering the unloading order - Optimize existing routes and trucks based on cost and time aspects - Buy loading capacity from haulers on demand - Negotiate transportation rates with customers and haulers - Create customs documentation - Perform customer service activities - Communication to customers and haulers

Tasks: - Organize and plan LCL and FCL ocean freight shipments - Plan and dispatch airfreight shipments - Perform customs brokerage for perishable goods - Prepare and organize road freight shipments to UK, Greece and Switzerland Major achievements/ successes: - Received an overview on the tasks of an forwarding agent - Gained the basic knowledge on the forwarding business - Received the certificate from the chamber of commerce (90 of 100 points) - Completed the vocational school (Grade: 1.1 / A)
